I have something embarrassing to tell you, my friends. (Deep breaths)… I know this is a judgment free zone (because yall forgive me for having the world’s worst looking hot glue gun).. so here it goes….. My front door is naked. Naked. It’s bad enough that the previous owners painted it a very unfortunate shade […]
It’s always funny when you’re packing everything up at the end of the Christmas season and somehow you need to figure out how to stuff 35 paper Christmas gift bags into one tiny wrapping paper storage box. There’s also a little bit of sadness when a really cute gift bag that you found gets torn […]
Love Love Love this. I have been looking for something that doesn’t require sewing to make capes for the kids. They just love being superheros and trying to tie their blankets around their next just isn’t working so well… May have to make a trip to the craft store tomorrow!!
I think the only thing I’ll change is to open the front of the neck and add a little velcro for safety, but I am SO very excited to find this! I was about to buy one and they aren’t too cheap really. This is perfect!!! Heck I might make 2. In keeping with your no-sew idea, I do believe they make an adhesive/sticky backed velcro I might try out. If it doesn’t stay long perhaps I’ll break down and actually add a stitch or two.
But YAY thanks!!!
Two of the ones I did stuck forever and are still stuck with just glue but one (that had glitter ingrained in the felt) kept falling off no matter how many times I glued it back on. I think I’m going to have to put a stitch in it. I think velcro in the front is a great idea too. I hope your kids love them!
These are adorable. I can’t wait to give them a try.
