Football Party Ideas
I’m not a sports person. Somewhere in the mix of throwing a football down a very long field while tackling each other or running up and down a basketball court just to have knee injuries I’m lost. Why do people enjoy it? But the truth is that they do enjoy it and sometimes I’m forced to participate in sport watching activites. Getting together to watch football games (or to hide somewhere and talk to a friend) can be fun and adding the perfect football party foods and activities just make it better.
So whats a few things that you really need for a great football watch party?
First is the food!
My friend Kelley from The Grant Life has a recipe for Crockpot Pork Sliders that would be the perfect football food. Plus they’re in the crock pot which makes it even easier. Serve it with some sweet potatoe fries and sliced raw vegetable sticks and you’ll have a great easy menu.
Then when you’re done with dinner you’ll need easy sweet treats to set off the spice of the sliders.
Moms Confession has super cute Football Rice Krispie Treats that would wow your family or guests and would also be great for tailgating!
While you’re at Moms Confession don’t forget to grab this printable Football Banner. I honestly don’t care what team is on the TV but decorating makes it fun. If it’s for your son and you want to embarrass him, feel free to glue some felt flowers onto the printable football banner.
And then top off the entire thing with these free cute printables for serving your food. There’s even a great popcorn bowl shaped like a football printable all free and courtesy of Hostess with the Mostess Blog.
And if you want to get a jump on your Super Bowl Preparations you can save these Super Bowl Bingo cards to your computer now.
If you want to use them before the super bowl just print them and cut off the Super Bowl Header. They still fit for regular football games! Free Printable Super Bowl Bingo Cards.
Now just add a glue gun and you’re ready to go! Why a glue gun? Because when you get bored you can start bedazzling a football.
