I have something embarrassing to tell you, my friends. (Deep breaths)… I know this is a judgment free zone (because yall forgive me for having the world’s worst looking hot glue gun).. so here it goes….. My front door is naked. Naked. It’s bad enough that the previous owners painted it a very unfortunate shade […]
It’s always funny when you’re packing everything up at the end of the Christmas season and somehow you need to figure out how to stuff 35 paper Christmas gift bags into one tiny wrapping paper storage box. There’s also a little bit of sadness when a really cute gift bag that you found gets torn […]
Very cute. We are thinking of having an Ice Cream Social birthday party for my daughter this December. I am pinning this one to my “Party Ideas” board on Pinterest. Thanks for sharing!
I am visiting from WFMW. I hope you enjoy the rest of your week.

Thank you for pinning! I’m newly obsessed with Pintrest. I just joined last week and I’m kicking myself for waiting so long! I love it! I would love to see what all you do for that party. Great theme!
these look delicious. I want to eat them now.
I’ll send you some. Not sure when but next time I make them, I’ll send them via Damion
I’m so glad you wrote this post! My mom used to make these for us when I was a little girl! Your rainbow cake is one of the most vibrant cakes I’ve ever seen. So cute!
thank you! my mom made them too. Good memories.
I’m such a fan of Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes! They’re so yummy, and you can tailor them to the birthday theme. (We made the frosting blue for my son’s 7th birthday…) Your rainbow cake is BEAUTIFUL!! Can’t wait to read more of your blog. 🙂

thank you!
Love these! How do you keep the cones from falling over while you slide them in and out of the oven on the cookie sheet?
I would love for you to share this post (and any others) on my mommy solution meme!

I put the cones in muffin tins but they still tip if you’re not careful. Putting them in your just have to be super careful.
The last time I tried making cupcakes like this, the cones got REALLY soggy! How do you prevent that??
You need to make sure your oven is properly preheated and fill the cones and then immediately put them in the oven to bake.
